Great! But screws are too long.
These are very nice exterior lights. They are all metal and glass, there is no plastic on these at all. They are very easy to install, however, the directions included are of very little help. I used a YouTube video and it was a breeze. I did find that what some of the other reviewers said was right, the screws included are way too long. You need screws about half the size of the ones they give you. I got around this by using the screws that were on my old light fixtures. These lights come with wire nuts and a mounting bracket. Everything about these is 5 stars, but the screws being too long and causing some grief, is why I rated 4 stars. Overall I feel these are nice quality and they are beautiful once installed on the house. I would recommend and buy again.

nice lights get different screws
We recently replaced our house siding and I didn’t want to put the 4 old lights (2 at front door & 2 at garage) back on the new siding. Lights are expensive at Lowes and HD like $60-$100 each and I really didn’t need anything fancy. These were perfect! Plus I wanted the opening at the bottom to stop the bug collection and make bulb change easy. I read the online reviews about the screws being too long but since I do have a hacksaw, figured if needed I could just saw them off. They arrived quick and well packaged, but the reviews were correct. The screws (with the black end caps) were way too long and much too tough for me to hacksaw them off. So off to Lowes to get the recommended #6 32 x 3/4″ machine screws (less than $2 for package of 12). Now that the lights are up, they look great and I love them. If you decided to order these lights, save yourself some time and just get the screws before they ever arrive. You will be glad you did.

Easy Install!
These lights are AWESOME! I did a thorough review of other Amazon Customers’ Reviews, on numerous other fixtures that I liked, and these exterior wall lighting fixtures came out on top!!My son installed these for me; one on my front porch, and a second one on a side porch. The prior problem with the included mounting hardware has been resolved. (In earlier reviews, several reviewers reported that the the mounting screws included with these units were the incorrect length. This issue appears to have been addressed and corrected.) We did not have to buy additional hardware for the install. It took my son 15 minutes, per fixture, to hardwire/install. He was replacing damaged, non-working old fixtures, so, he didn’t have to do a whole, new, fresh install. These units appear to be cast aluminum, and the glass sides have prism-cuts at all the edges, to really reflect and refract the light, so they really sparkle! There is no bottom on these units. I am including photos of these new fixtures, post-install. I have also included photos of the pages of instructions that were included in the box. Instructions are in English, Spanish, and French. I hope this review has been helpful!

AMAZING quality, low price
Ordered it; got it quickly.Pleasantly surprised with the quality: Solid, heavy gauge metal, but not too heavy.Looks just as beautiful as it does on the picture.Not much else to say — the installation is about the same as that for any external wall fixture.If you’re attaching it to vinyl siding (which is the most common scenario in my opinion), you will need these two items:* Arlington 8141-1 Vertical Siding Lamp Mounting Kit (check your siding offset first; This one is 1/2″)* Arlington 8100LP-1 MEGA Siding Plate (goes right over the previous item)You need the above two items (especially the 8141 or something similar) for a code-compliant installation, especially if there is not a proper junction box in your wall to attach the base of the lantern to.Do NOT attach it directly to the wall with nothing behind it (e.g. if you have a piece of Romex wire simply sticking out of a hole in the wall) — that’s a violation of the National Electrical Code, and is unsafe.Using the Arlington 8141 or something similar should be an adequate substitute for a junction box (check with a local inspector or an electrician first though, as this may vary from one jurisdiction to another).Advice: After attaching the mounting bracket to the wall (or, to be exact, to the junction box or a siding adapter), firmly attach the bare grounding wire to the grounding screw on the bracket first; that way it has something to dangle on while you are connecting the white and the black wires.

Didn’t expect much for the price paid, but this lantern is truly very nice. It’s not perfect (the tip is bit “off” from vertical), but you cannot tell unless you specifically look for it. Really amazing value. Combined with a motion sensing bulb, works really well and looks totally sharp. Very nice clean and uniform black finish. Well packaged. Simple to install. What else could one ask for. Highly recommended.
