These lights are great! They provide bright ambient light and come with 2 replacement bulbs. It also comes with zipties for hanging but they do work properly. Easy fix though. They are very sturdy and held up to my 50 pound dog stepping on the bulb. Very good quality for the price.

Great Outdoor String Lights With Warm Inviting Glow
These outdoor string lights have been hanging on my back patio for several weeks now and I have been really happy with how they perform. The 30-foot length with 13 G40 globe bulbs covers a good amount of space, and the warm 2700K glow they put out is exactly the right tone for outdoor evening use – soft, inviting, and comfortable on the eyes without being harsh or too dim.The first thing I noticed when opening the box was how sturdy the cord feels. It is noticeably thicker and more substantial than cheaper string light options I have tried in the past. The cord does not feel flimsy or like it will crack and deteriorate after one season outdoors. Each bulb socket has a small built-in clip on it which makes mounting to a fence, pergola, or overhead wire much simpler – you do not have to loop zip ties around every single socket individually. That is a small but thoughtful design detail that saves real time during installation.The G40 bulbs themselves are made from shatterproof plastic rather than glass. This is actually a big deal for outdoor use because glass globe bulbs can crack or shatter if they get hit by branches, hail, or just from the thermal expansion and contraction that comes with being outside year-round. If a plastic bulb does need replacing, they unscrew easily from the socket and spare bulbs are included in the box. The IPX5 waterproof rating means rain is not a concern, and I can confirm they have stayed on and performed fine through several rainstorms since I put them up.The dimmability is another feature I appreciate. Using them on a dimmer switch gives you real flexibility – full brightness for gatherings or a softer glow for a relaxed evening outside. Not all string lights in this price range are dimmable, so this is a genuine plus.Overall these are a great value for the quality you get. They look attractive, they feel well-built, installation is straightforward, and the warm light output creates exactly the kind of cozy backyard atmosphere you are going for. A solid choice for patios, decks, pergolas, or any outdoor entertaining space.

As a former professional decorator, these are….
nice lights! I have worked with literally thousands of different types of light strands over my lifetime. After spending well over a decade as a professional decorator for the world’s most notorious theme park resort, I know quality lights when I see them, and I think these are good quality. This one single strand of 32 light bulbs generously cast enough brightness that, unless you have a backyard patio big enough to host a wedding reception, will be enough to fully light most people’s modest backyard decks for comfortable evening conversation. These will work nicely for hanging from the ceiling of a covered patio, and each light socket has a small plastic hook to help hold the lights in place.However, I must mention that “free hanging” lights such as these is not a great idea. What I mean is, if you plan to string these across a patio, a barn, or a garden area, I highly recommend using some sort of guy wire as support. This means running the guy wire and securing it at each end FIRST, and THEN hanging the lights from the wire, using the clip on each bulb socket for support. Otherwise, you run the risk of pulling the wires inside the cord and creating disconnection points because of the tension. Let the guy wire handle the tension and then gently hang the lights on the wire. Trust me. This is how the professionals do it. Don’t be an amateur and screw up your brand new set of lights by stretching out the wires inside the cording. If you want them to last (and these WILL last season after season if you treat them right), give them some extra support.The wire on this is thin, very similar to electrical cord of a living room lamp. This cord in no way resembles thicker extension cord cording. It is lightweight gauge and untangles fairly easily.We own a lot of different Edison light string sets and the round ones are quickly becoming my favorites because they look more whimsical than the other types/shapes, like something you would see from a 1920s carnival. Also, I think the color temperature on these is nice, being a warm 2700K LED that actually has some depth to it. So many clear LED light strands lack depth in their illumination, almost like dead hospital lighting, but these are not like that. In fact, these are very close to being able to pass for true incandescent bulbs. LED strands, especially the Edison bulbs, have come a long way since they first came out.Being plastic, the bulbs are shatter resistant, of course, but I would not drag these across the concrete or run them over with your car and expect them to survive. They are shatter resistant, not destruction proof.Overall, these are great quality lights for the price. And right now, I see they are offering a coupon that makes these $19.99 which is an even better deal. If we decided to connect a few more, I would absolutely feel confidant in purchasing more strands.
