The remote control for this TV was completely destroyed and unusable when delivered. I paid a handyman to install this beast of a TV onto my wall already before we realized the remote was destroyed in shipping. Contacted Amazon to get a replacement remote, they do not offer this so they told me to contact the seller. Contacted the seller to get a replacement remote sent by email and phone. They refused to replace a damaged remote because a “damaged part voids the warranty.” The agent I spoke to made it very clear that if the remote was just defective, they would have replaced it right away, but because it was completely broken, the only choice I had was to purchase another one, for $50!!! In addition to this, they require a money order to be mailed in and will not accept credit card, personal check, or an online purchase. This TV does not work with a universal remote because it’s an unknown brand and does not have a code that will pair with a universal remote. They also refused to provide the code I could use to get it to pair with a universal remote. When I asked for a supervisor to assist me an escalate this issue, they refused and said they would “try to escalate it but did not have any way of knowing when I would be contacted back.” Core Innovations is a HORRIBLE company with the worst customer support. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!!

(This review is for the Core Innovations 4K UHD LED 43″ Outdoor IP54 Weatherproof TV.)I recently got this outdoor TV as part of a plan to set up an outdoor patio, and I’m really happy with it! Other parts of my plan are not far enough along yet, so for the time being, I set the TV up in my garage using a rolling stand that I purchased separately—in other words, I haven’t yet tried the TV outdoors, but that is definitely the end-goal.Obviously, the standout feature of this TV is the rugged design and weatherproofing. This is built very solidly, with a metal chassis and both connection port sections enclosed with small metal doors with thumbscrews. At first, I wondered whether the small metal doors were sufficiently waterproof, as they don’t have any kind of rubber gasket. I think they probably don’t seal perfectly, but there is enough of a gap that any drips that got in would be directed down and away from the connection ports. It would still be a good idea to use a drip loop of some kind if you are connecting this where it will rain, of course. The rest of the weatherproofing is very robust—the power cable is physically connected (so it presents no exposure), the screen is protected, and there really are no obvious weaknesses in the design.When I received this box, it was very beat up and clearly had been treated brutally by the mail service. Even though the box was barely held together and the accessories were literally falling out on my porch, the TV itself was perfectly fine.It isn’t a smart TV, which is my preference. I would much rather connect a Fire TV stick, computer, or something else to get smart features. Too often, smart TVs get bogged down with updates and junk, then start to become slow or bug out. Some smart TVs also have invasive telemetry and tracking. But this TV just works, with a simple and straightforward user interface, and no internet access as far as I can tell. Perfect!The remote control is very basic and feels light and cheap, and it uses a small watch battery (why not AAA?). I do like that the remote is waterproof, and I like even more that the TV has physical buttons on it. It would have been easy for them to leave out the physical buttons to avoid having extra points that could expose the TV to elements, but instead, they added physical buttons and weatherproofed them effectively with rubber covers. I have had TVs before with no physical buttons, and it is so frustrating if the remote is lost or misplaced and there’s nothing you can do, so I really am grateful for these.The mount it came with seems sturdy, and I think it will work well for eventually mounting the TV. It is not some cheap mount that they threw in—I think it is engineered well enough to hold up this quite-heavy TV.The picture quality is excellent! The resolution and colors look great, and there are no dead pixels or obvious issues. I looked at it in partially covered sunlight, and it was easy to see, but I haven’t yet tested full sinlight.Overall, I’m really pleased with this TV. I expect it will last a long time, and I anticipate loving it and getting a lot of use out of it.

Enhancing the backyard patio
Our covered patio was missing a TV, so getting this 43 inch outdoor tv has been perfect. It comes with the mounting bracket and a water proof remote control. the TV is weather resistant and works great in our covered patio. Now while BBQing we can watch the ball game or have a family movie night. This has now become our go to spot. we find ourselves sitting outdoors more with the added TV,
